Our society is increasingly polarized and divided, but this should not be the reality within the Church of Christ. We need a church where people from every nation are welcomed and loved. We believe that God has given unique gifts to different cultures, and we long to see those gifts manifested and used for His glory to reach the lost. That’s why we invite you to join our international church planting project.

weekly international Small Groups

Kairos Hannover offers weekly international small groups where people from all backgrounds can connect, grow in faith, and explore the Bible together in English and Germans. Join a welcoming, multicultural community and build meaningful relationships in a Christ-centered, encouraging environment.

Holy Spirit Worship Night

Worship has the power to lift us out of anxiety and fear, align our hearts with God’s will, and remind us of our true identity in Christ. Scripture calls us to rejoice always and give praise to God (1 Thessalonians 5:16–22). We believe that worship will change our life—it brings transformation, peace, and deeper connection with God. Join us to worship and praise God at our monthly worship gathering, and experience the presence of the Holy Spirit in our international church community in Hannover.

Serve The City

Jesus came to serve, not to be served (Mark 10:45), and we follow His example by showing His love through action. As an international church in Hannover, we are committed to making the gospel known through practical service. Twice a month, our team reaches out to support refugees and international students—helping them learn German, build meaningful relationships, and integrate into life in Germany. Through these acts of love and service, we aim to reflect Christ’s heart to our community.

Meet our church planter

Rio, originally from Jakarta, Indonesia, and his wife Theresa, born in Northern Germany, met in Hannover and have been serving in ministry together ever since. While students, they shared the message of Jesus and the Gospel through music concerts and active involvement in local ministries. Rio led the Student Ministry Navigators in Hannover for four years, and together they completed their training at Cornhill Bible College in Glasgow. Rio continued theological studies while Theresa works as a teacher. Rio also served as a pastor for three years at FeG Dreisechzehn in Hannover, where Theresa supported the Children’s Ministry. Now, they feel that God is calling them to build an international church in Hannover, creating a welcoming multicultural community for all nations.

Biblical Faithfull

We believe in the divine inspiration of the Bible, that it is the true and inspired word of God. We believe that the Bible is our standard for life, and (that) its truth, integrity, and relevance is of utmost importance. The Bible is not just a book, but a living guide, full of God’s wisdom and guidance.

Spirit Empowered

We rely on the Holy Spirit in everything that we do. He is the third person of the Trinity and the unifying power between God and humanity. Furthermore, He is the source of our new life, guidance, and strength. He helps us to understand and appreciate the Bible, and live out its teachings joyfully in our lives.

Culture

God values every culture equally and calls us to make disciple of every nation. Therefore, we celebrate the rich diversity of cultural backgrounds within God's people. We promote inclusivity, ensuring that everyone feels welcomed and valued. Our mission is to engage with and serve the local community while fostering mutual respect and understanding among all our members. Ultimately, we emphasize unity in Christ, focusing on shared beliefs that transcend cultural differences.

Normally, our church plant meets in a private home, but for larger events, we use the Navigatoren Wohnzimmer at Asternstraße 11.
